What’s in my Purse? My Summer Must Haves

August 8, 2017

I change out my purse all the time. I love to match it to my outfit or activities for the day (work, shopping, date night) and its always fun to switch it up. Though my purse may change there are a few summer essentials that you will always find in my bag.

Travel sized sunscreen. So often I’m out and about during the summer and realize that I’m starting to burn. Of course this always happens when I won’t be going home anytime soon, so I always find it helpful to have a little extra sunscreen on hand. I usually buy mine at Target in the travel section.

Lip balm with SPF. Your lips can burn too! Keep them soft and protected by using a lip balm with SPF. This one from Sun Bum is my absolute favorite. It feels great and smells like coconut!

Purell hand wipes. There is never, not a need for these. Trust me, put them in your purse. You won’t regret it.

Hand sanitizer. Kind of like the wipes, there is always a need for hand sanitizer, especially in the summer. I love the bath and body works ones! The scent I’m currently using is sweet cinnamon pumpkin and no, I’m not ashamed.

Oil blotting wipes. My skin definitely get more oily in the summer, so having these on hand is an absolute must for me.

Mattifying powder. Sometimes when I use oil blotting wipes, some of my makeup rubs off, so it’s nice to have something to touch up my makeup and keep me matte.

Sunnies. I don’t know how anyone goes through their day without sunglasses. I can’t see anything outside without my sun glasses. I have my main ones and two back-ups in the care. Sunnies are always an essential in my purse.

Hair tie and bobby pins. I can’t tell you how many times I’m out or at work and it’s so hot I have to throw my hair up. I always have a hair tie and bobby pins on hand so I can create a cute top knot bun that looks like I planned it.

What are some of your purse essentials this summer? Let me know in the comments!

You are loved,

J
